Andy Warhol's New York

Regular price £12.00

In the 40 years that Andy Warhol lived in New York he transformed himself from an aspiring illustrator to a wildly successful fine artist.

The 60-plus entries capture the places he lived, worked, partied, ate and drank. There's Paul Bochicchio, where he bought his trademark wigs, the Hugo Gallery, the first gallery to exhibit AW’s non-commercial artwork, and even the address of the carpenter who manufactured the boxes which would be printed with facsimile logos of Brillo, Kellogg's and Heinz.

Andy Warhol's New York comes in its own die-cut folder which also contains postcards and a wearable Warhol wig mask.

Folder contents
Map (400 x 690mm), postcards and a cut-out Warhol mask.
Litho-printed in the UK using vegetable based-ink on sustainably sourced paper.

It's been a while since we updated some of our city guides, in that time the world has changed a lot. These guides are still packed full of inspiration and have plenty of great tips for things to see, do, eat and drink, but we can't be sure that every place we've recommended is still open or quite the same as it was when we wrote about it. With that in mind, follow this link for discounted bundles of city guides.
