The goats, sheep, pigs and chickens resident in this farm on the Thames’ southern shore seem blissfully content, untroubled by the looming towers of the City of London that form a somewhat surreal backdrop. This livestock is the main attraction, kept safe in a central pen into which visitors are allowed. If that seems too close for comfort, you can buy animal feed from the farm shop and share the bounty with them from the other side of the fence. Also on site is a café and a shop full of produce: eggs from the chickens and geese, farm vegetables and even cuts of meat.
