Steve Wolf designed our guide to Brooklyn Bars, but he’d rather be eating sushi on Tokyo or on the beach in Kalamata.
Tell us your three favourite places (where you live): one restaurant or bar, one shop and one thing to do!
My favourite restaurant in Austin is Chi’lantro. It’s a Korean Mexican fusion that features my favourite menu item: The Kimchi Fries. It’s a must have if you visit Austin. I find myself eating here quite regularly.
Shop: Stag on South Congress which features some of the coolest and most fashionable men’s clothing you will find anywhere. The quality is hard to beat and there is an awesome Willie Nelson mural on the outside.
One thing to do: Kayaking or paddle boarding down lady bird lake downtown is a great way to enjoy the outdoors while getting a great view of the Austin skyline.
Tell us your three favourite places (anywhere in the world): one restaurant or bar, one shop and one thing to do!
Restaurant: The best sushi and quite possibly the best meal I have ever had was at Sushisho Masa in the Roppongi region of Tokyo. The experience was served omakase and lasted over two hours. The fish I tasted was so fresh that I couldn’t compare it to anything else I had ever eaten. My taste buds were overwhelmed with new tastes and fish I have never heard of before. In all, I consumed around 40 pieces of sushi/pieces of fish. A must visit restaurant if you ever make it to Tokyo.
Shop: I don’t know if I have a favourite shop in the world but I would say that I love to walk through antique stores often. It’s fun to visit antique stores whenever I travel to a new city.
One thing to do: Visit and get lost in the Louvre in Paris. The overwhelming feeling you get combined with the excitement and pure awe makes for an unforgettable experience. You will want to spend more than one day inside when you visit.

A travel tip or best travel item.
My best travel tip is to not over pack. It seems I always bring either too much stuff or a few unnecessary items that I never use on the trip. When you travel with less stuff, you also have more room for souvenirs!
